Officers are appealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself to a girl in Popley on Thursday, June 7.

At about 5.45pm the 15-year-old victim was walking along Abbey Road, Popley.  When she reached the bridge that leads from Abbey Road to Stratfield Road in Oakridge she was approached by a man who indecently exposed himself in front of her.

The man police want to speak to is described as:

    • White
    • In his late 20s
    • About 5ft 8ins
    • Normal build
    • Brown eyes
    • Short brown hair
    • He was wearing a blue round neck jumper, possibly with a logo on the top left hand side, smart black trousers and boots
    • He had a few spots on his face

PC Claire Wood said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.  We are especially interested in speaking to a woman who was seen at the time of the incident walking a short distance behind the offender.

“I would urge anyone with any information about this incident to get in touch.”
