Welcome to Webbers Founder, Walter William Webber, was involved in the sale and maintenance of the motor car, for almost as long as it has been in existence. First opening its doors for business in 1900, fifteen years after Karl Benz ran the first petrol engined car. The company was registered in 1910, originally selling and repairing bicycles. Quickly evolving to meet the demands of the emerging motor industry. Webbers enjoyed an extremely busy period during the Second World War, having been commissioned by the Ministry of Transport to repair military and emergency vehicles. Over the years, as Basingstoke has continued to grow and develop, Webbers have also moved with the times but not at the expense of its sense of tradition. The company remains a family owned and run business, with our Managing Director, Winton Webber, the great grandson of its founder Walter Wiliam Webber. Webbers have invested in a state of the art Subaru facility in Basingstoke, where the team are waiting to provide its customers with the highest levels of service across all aspects of the business.
