Your local library has lots of events for you to take part in. Children Colouring and other activities are always available in our bright and colourful children’s library. We have story and information books for all ages from babies to teens, story tapes and CDs to borrow, DVDs and videos to hire. Safe internet access is also available free of charge. Our popular story–time for under 5’s is held every Wednesday morning at 10am. We have loads of fun stories for your little ones to join in with as enthusiastically as they like!
In April we will be launching our children’s gardening competition, so get your gardening gloves on and come and take part. All children’s activities are free of charge. Knit and Knatter. Wednesday afternoons from 2.15 – 4.15pm., once a month. Our next get-togethers are on 9th April and 7th May. Come along and learn to knit or share your expertise. 30p for refreshments. Card Craft Club. Thursdays 10 – 12am once a month. Our next sessions are on April 10th and 8th May. Bring your card-making projects and share ideas and materials with other crafty folk. 30p for refreshments. As well as books for loan we offer internet access (free of charge), photocopying, DVDs, Playstation games and CDs for hire, handmade cards, stamps and book tokens for sale.
