Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to send in their ideas for extra events and functions at the hall. Suggestions included Talks with guest speakers, A day in the life of ... ,, Bridge & Chess clubs, Wine tastings. Dancing lessons, Over 50s Keep Fit etc.
Those of you familiar with most halls and clubs will know that all events need dedicated and willing volunteers to organise and run them. Some of the ideas put forward might not be practical given the size of the hall and its facilities, but to move any ideas forward, we need folks willing to organize, publicise and run the events. So, if you are interested in helping get things going, then phone on 356974 or write to us at the hall at 364 Kempshott lane RG22 5UY. One of the committee members will be pleased to then get in touch to discuss available dates, times and hire arrangements. By the way, anyone interested in volunteering to help on the committee would be welcome as well. Look out for our AGM in late June when you can come along and have your say, meet the committee, put forward your ideas etc whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits.
