Old Down & Beggarwood Wildlife Group Initiative -November Report
A new initiative has been launched to create a wildlife group to manage the two woodland parks on either side of the A30 at Kempshott and Hatchwarren. The group would like to hear from anyone who would like to learn more about field or evening events as they are planned or better still who would like to be more directly involved in doing things.

. If you are interested in any way, and particularly if you have a little time to give to a worthwhile community project then please phone for an informal chat or simply register with us on our contact database to hear of events by forwarding your full name and address, telephone and if possible email details to Paul Beevers on 01256 475944 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Old Down and Beggarwood total nearly 70 acres of woodland and grassland and this is a fantastic opportunity to improve the interest and value of these spaces by increasing the diversity of wildlife by active management of the grassland and woodland.
