Basingstoke youth charged after malicious phone calls are made to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service

Officers in Basingstoke have charged a teenage boy after a number of malicious phone calls were made to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service between May and July 2007.

The calls related to the areas of Popley, Oakridge and Odiham.

The 15-year-old boy from Popley will appear at Basingstoke Youth Court on Wednesday, August 15 charged with three counts of causing a false alarm of fire to be given.
