Police in Basingstoke are appealing for information after racist graffiti was discovered in Popley.
On Monday, June 11, Popley beat manager, PC Daniel Carter, was on patrol in Melrose Walk when he noticed racist graffiti on a wall. The graffiti included references to the BNP, Hitler and a Swastika symbol. PC Carter said: “I would like to hear from anyone who has any information about who could be responsible for this vile and offensive graffiti so that we can prosecute the offenders.” Anyone with any information should contact PC Carter at Basingstoke police station on 0845 045 45 45 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. |
