Police in Basingstoke appeal for information after valuable property is stolen PDF Print E-mail

Officers are appealing for information after offenders gained access to a house in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke on Thursday, April 12.

At some time between 6.15pm and 11pm, offenders gained access to a house on Schubert Road, Brighton Hill, Basingstoke.  Once inside they took a laptop computer and a mobile phone valued at around £1,100.  The offenders also took a set of car keys and then stole a blue Subaru with the registration number P354 KDU, which is valued at around £7,500.

PC Greg Coupe said: “This incident took place in a quiet cul-de-sac in Brighton Hill, when many members of the community would have been at home. 

“I am appealing to anyone who saw the incident take place between 6.15pm and 11pm, anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or anyone who heard a vehicle leaving the property between these times.

“I would like to stress that the victim of this crime has lost a lot of valuable property and if anybody saw or heard anything I would urge them to get in touch with the police.”
