Time for tee with the Mayor! |
Borough Mayor Cllr Tony Jones is inviting golfers to join him for a charity golf day on Wednesday 25 April 2007.
Basingstoke Golf Club has offered to host this event in order to raise funds for the Mayor's charity appeal.
Teams of four people, with a maximum handicap of 28, will tee off from 1pm. The cost per person is £45, £180 per team and includes an 18 hole round of golf and a three course carvery meal in the evening.
Cllr Jones said: “I was very keen to host a golf day as a great opportunity to bring together teams from businesses, organisations and communities in the borough to help raise money for my charity appeal. Thanks to the generosity and support of Basingstoke Golf Club, we are looking forward to a successful and enjoyable day. There are still places left so I’m urging golfers to put in a team.”
