suereid.jpgSue Reid, the headteacher at Winklebury Infant School in Basingstoke has been invited to a lunch reception by Christine Gilbert, Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector on Thursday 25th January.

She will join other headteachers from the South East at Lancaster House in London to celebrate their success in being included on the outstanding provider list for 2005/06. Certificates will be presented to honour this achievement.

What makes this particularly special for Sue and the Winklebury Infant School community is that it is the third time the school has received an outstanding OFSTED report over the past ten years. In fact, it is the only school in the whole of Hampshire to have achieved this accolade and one of only 66 in the country. Undoubtedly a cause for celebration!

To find out more about the school and why it is so successful, log on to the Winklebury Infant School website at:  www.winklebury-inf.ik.org
