Police investigating a fatal collision are appealing for a Good Samaritan who helped at the scene to get in touch.
Roads Policing Officers are keen to trace the woman to thank her for her help after the two vehicle collision in The Harrow Way, Basingstoke, at about 6.30pm on Sunday, November 26.
The woman assisted Hampshire Fire Service in removing three children, a six and two five year olds, from one of the vehicles and comforted them in the fire engine.
She then went in the ambulance with them to the hospital.
PC Andy Neilson, of Farnborough Roads Policing Unit, said: “We, and the family, would really like to thank this lady for all the help she gave at the scene and afterwards.
“She helped get the children out of the car and then sat with them in the fire engine for at least three quarters of an hour.
“She then gave up her time to come in the ambulance with myself and a paramedic.
“She stayed at the hospital for ages as well but she disappeared before we could thank her.”
The woman was at the scene with her husband and teenage daughter.
The incident happened in The Harrow Way, between the Golden Lion and Viables roundabouts, Basingstoke.
