Before adding any photos to the site please ensure you have registered and confirmed you details.  (See FAQ on How to register for more information).   Please also ensure the images you wish to upload meet the following requirements. 

Max dimensions of 600 x 600 pixels
Max 50KB in size
Must be of the JPEG type

All other images are not supported.

Please ensure that your image fulfils these requirements.
To check your image (Windows) go to the image file and then without clicking on the image put your mouse icon over the image.  A box should now appear with the information on the image.  It will give the dimensions in pixels i.e. 450 x 326, the date, the picture type i.e. JPEG and the size i.e. 37KB

If your image is not of the correct size or type you will need to change your image.  This can easily be done with the software you received with your digital camera or scanner. 

On the front page login to the website using you login and password.

Once logged in click on Photo Gallery to go to the photo gallery section. 

As you have already logged in the gallery software automatically sets you up as a user of the Photo Gallery.  As a user you will get additional menu options.  Including uploading images and setting up your own gallery folder. 

Before uploading any images check the albums on the site and make sure you know which album you wish to add your photos to.  You can create your own Album if required.  To create an album click the create/order my albums button.  Once you have the create album screen click the NEW button.  Then change the name 'New Album' to the album name you want.  Once you have set up the albums you want click the 'Apply Modifications' button.  You are now ready to upload your photos.

To upload images click on the text in the menu ' Upload Image'. 

The screen will refresh and in the centre of the screen will be a list of boxes.  These are for you to put the details of the images on your PC so that they can be uploaded to the photo gallery.

Click the browse button so your PC can open a pop up displaying files on your PC.  Find the image you want to upload double click the image or click the image once then click the open button on the pop up.  This sets the image details into the box.  Then go onto the next box and repeat the process.  Do this until you have chosen all your images or you have run out of boxes.  Once you have all the images you want to or can upload click the CONTINUE button.

The system will then upload the images.  Once done the screen will refresh and a message will appear.  This will advise you on the status of the upload and if all the images uploaded or not.  Click the CONTINUE button.

Now you get to see each of the images you have uploaded.  You need to set some parameters for each image.  First box is a drop down menu for you to choose the Photo Album you wish the photo to appear in.  Next box is for the image title, this is required and needs to be completed.  You can then put a more detailed description for the image.  This allows you to inform the public looking at the image to know what the image is about. After the description you add some keywords which will help the search engines when looking at the image.  You can then give people some details about the picture including where it was taken, date the picture was taken, weather and camera details. 

Once you have completed the picture information click the CONTINUE button.  Then go to the next image, once completed you will be taken back to the photo gallery home page. 

If required then complete the process again.
