Man charged following fatal road traffic collision in Basingstoke |
|
A man has been charged following a fatal road traffic collision on the A30 in Basingstoke earlier this year.
Mark Reed, 33, from Cotswold Close, Basingstoke, is accused of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was bailed to appear at North West Hampshire Magistrates on Wednesday, June 11.
On Thursday, January 31, 2008, the Renault Laguna that Mr Reed was driving was in collision with a Renault Clio travelling in the opposite direction.
59-year-old Maureen Anne Cox and her mother, 79-year-old Beryl Joan Driscoll, both from Shirley in Southampton, died as a result.
