The aims of the Overton Biodiversity Society are to raise awareness of wildlife issues in the parish of Overton through a range of community based activities including wildlife talks, guided walks, wildlife surveys and practical conservation activities such as the restoration of "Little Meadow" as a community wildlife area. We have completed surveys of land use, hedgerows, veteran trees and water voles and are working towards the production of a parish biodiversity action plan.
We have about 150 members and new members are always welcome. For more information please phone Ken or Jane MacKenzie 01256 771121 email
