We are very pleased to welcome you and your child to Kempshott Infant School.
We aim to provide a calm, stimulating and caring environment where staff, governors and parents work in close partnership to give children the best possible start to school life and lay a firm foundation for future learning.
We hope your child will settle in quickly and spend a very happy, enjoyable and rewarding time with us. It is our belief that every child can succeed and we hope children will be motivated to learn and experience the joys that learning can bring.
The contents of this booklet will give you a great deal of information about the organisation of the school and the curriculum. It cannot, however, give you the full flavour and atmosphere of the school, the success of which depends so much upon the good personal relationships, dedication and expertise of all who work here.
We hope very much you will play an active part in nurturing and developing a good relationship between home and school by taking a keen interest in the life of the school and your child’s progress. Remember it is your school and your child’s success is dependent on home and school working closely together at all times.
