Details: We are a group of almost 300 National Trust members in the Basingstoke area who meet to enjoy talks, events and outings.
The Centre was founded in 1985 and has members in Basingstoke, Fleet, Farnborough, Aldershot, Alton, Cliddesden and Hook. A Committee of volunteers drawn from our current membership runs the Centre. The Vyne is our closely associated property.
Our aims are
To encourage membership of the National Trust
To raise funds for the Trusts local and national appeals
To offer members the chance to meet and enjoy events with people of similar interests
We have a varied programme of events and activities and full details are to be found in our spring and autumn Newsletters. They are free to Centre members. Please see attachment for some of the forthcoming events.
The North Hampshire Centre holds its meetings at the following halls:
Cliddesden Millennium Village Hall
Crondall Village Hall
Elizabeth Hall, Hook
Victoria Hall, Hartley Wintney
United Reformed Church, Basingstoke
These are held on varying days of the week starting at 2.30 p.m. or 7.30.p.m.
North Hampshire Centre welcomes new members. To join our Centre you must first be a member of the National Trust or an affiliated National Trust, e.g. The National Trust for Scotland.
The current annual membership rate is £4 (1st member) and £2 for each additional member living at the same address. We look forward to meeting you.
