Details: Outdoor bowling club for men & women of all ages. New and experienced bowlers and young people all very welcome. Playing season is from mid April to September. If you are interested to try the sport please contact the club chairman Roger Haynes (01256 421849) or the secretary Joyce Cook (01256 466996) and they will be pleased to tell you about the club and arrange for you to have a try to see if you like it! They can be contacted by phone at any time of the year or you can just turn up at the club in Fairfields Road once the season has started. The club plays friendly matches at the weekends and league matches for both men and women and mixed teams in the week, evenings and Thursday afternoons. We socialise with the visiting teams after each game in the clubhouse which has its own bar. Non-playing social members are also very welcome to join.
