Police in South Ham launch new beat surgery for local residents |
|
South Ham beat officers have
launched a new lunchtime ‘beat surgery’ for local residents.
The event will be held on
Monday, November 12, at 32 Branton Close, and will run from 10.30am to
12.30pm.
A beat surgery is an opportunity
for local residents to go along and chat to their local beat officers about any
safety or local policing issues which may be concerning them.
They want
to hear from residents about the issues they would like to see addressed in
their area.
PCSO Hayman said:
“It is going to be a coffee/chat
morning-style surgery to hopefully appeal to a different audience than the
evening style surgery. Come and say hello – we’re a friendly
bunch!”
PCSO Hayman will be accompanied by colleague
PC Richard Heard, as well as Mel Purves from Kingfisher Housing and ACSO Terri
McCombie.
Mel said: “This is another great example of
partnership work in the community.”
