Businesses don’t just work within council boundaries - that’s the message from a new task force set up to boost the North Hampshire economy by encouraging inward investment and improving skills.

Lead councillors and chief executives from councils covering the area have joined forces in a new North Hampshire and M3 Corridor Economic Board, together with regional and countywide bodies and local strategic partnership chairs.

Chineham Park, Basingstoke’s leading business location, has welcomed a new general manager to its on-site gym Fitness First.  Emma Graver will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the health and fitness centre based in the Spindlewood area of the park.

UKN Group Ltd, a global IT services provider and experts in the innovative use of IT and service management, has relocated to MEPC Chineham Park.  UKN has acquired a lease on a building totaling over 4,000 sqft in the Lindenwood area of the park, following continued business growth and expansion. 

Michael Eaton, chief executive officer for UKN Group Limited, said: “We were looking for prestigious accommodation in a business park with excellent transport links and amenities to enable us to grow our business. “The relocation of our head office to Chineham Park has provided us with the positive business environment that will facilitate further success for our business and its people.”
