Detectives investigating Dummer body discovery make arrest

Detectives investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in Dummer on Thursday, May 8 have arrested a man

The 27-year-old man was arrested in London by officers from Hampshire Constabulary.

The man has been brought back to the county for questioning.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary O’Flaherty, from the Major Crime Department, said: “This arrest is just one part of an ongoing investigation and we are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses to this crime.

“We are also still trying to identify the woman and would ask anyone with any information to contact police.”
