Appeal for information after criminal damage at schools in Basingstoke
Officers in Basingstoke are appealing for information following a spate of criminal damage incidents at schools in the Hatch Warren area.

Since May there have been 14 reports of criminal damage at Hatch Warren Junior School and Hatch Warren Infant school.

During these incidents graffiti was sprayed onto the buildings and a number of windows were damaged.

PC Kerry Lawrence said: “I am appealing for anyone with any information about these incidents to get in touch.

“This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and I would urge anyone with any information to come forward.”

Four teenage boys, three aged 12 and one aged 14, have been arrested in connection with these incidents and are currently on police bail.

Anyone with any information regarding these incidents should contact PC Lawrence or PCSO Karla Hammond at Basingstoke police station on 0845 045 45 45 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
